Pest management of invasive species on tropical ornamentals

This presentation will discuss pest management strategies for priority invasive species in production and landscape ornamentals in Hawaii, including the coqui frog, the papaya mealybug, the little fire ant, the nettle caterpillar and the erythrina gall wasp. Effective pest management strategies include use of reduced-risk insecticides, insect growth regulators and biological controls.
