The anthranilic diamide insecticide CORAGENTM SC represents a novel chemistry that acts with outstanding selectivity on the ryanodine receptor in insects. CORAGENTM SC is highly potent and has shown broad-spectrum control of Lepidopteran vegetable pests as well as selected pest species in the orders Coleoptera, Diptera, and Hemiptera. In addition to foliar spray applications, CORAGENTM SC has been shown to have excellent root uptake and xylem movement, making it a suitable product for applications via drip chemigation for the control of key foliage and fruit feeding vegetable pests. Field efficacy results and proposed directions for use via drip chemigation in vegetable crops will be presented.
