The Oriental fruit moth (OFM), Grapholita molesta (Busck), has recently become one of the most important pests of apples in Pennsylvania and the mid-Atlantic region. This project focused on improving the management of OFM through the use of, Confuse‚, a paraffin emulsion mating disrupter. Several studies were carried out to determine the efficacy of Confuse at different rates of application and for location of application in a tree.
