IPM with drywood termites

Vernard R. Lewis, Department of Entomology, University of California, Department of Entomology, 201 Wellman Hall, Berkeley, CA

Control of drywood termites is contingent on proper identification of the extent of infestation. Because the threshold level is zero for initiation of a control tactic, IPM consists of choosing between several treatment options. This presentation will discuss the available treatment options, preventative measures and discuss the future of detection for drywood termite control.

Species 1: Isoptera Kalotermitidae Crytoptermes brevis (West Indian powderpost termite)
